Appropriately, Northwest coast Indian art is even incorporated into the design of I-Hos Gallery’s building. The front of the building showcases a whale and a two-headed sea serpent. The animals are important in the lore of Comox Nation and the serpent, I-Hos, is the inspiration for the gallery’s name.
